Residents Plot Owners Social Welfare Association was formed by Allottees of RPS-2009(1) scheme to represent the Allottees and
fight for the development and possession of the plots, removal of unjustified interest and charges by the Authority. It was registered on 23rd Feb 2017
with the Registrar of Societies, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) was formed under the UP Industrial Development Act vide No. 697/LXXVII-4---2001-3(N)-2001
Dated Lucknow, April 24, 2001. It was initially formed as Taj Expressway Industrial Development Authority. Later on, the Government of Uttar Pradesh
vide Notification - No. 1165 / 77-4-08-65 N/08 -- Lucknow: Dated 11 July, 2008 reproduced below changed the name of the Authority as created above
from Taj Expressway Industrial Development Authority to Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.
YEIDA (or “Authority’) launched its first Residential Plot Scheme on 2nd March 2009. The scheme comprised of 21000 plots to be
developed and allotted as a planned township.

The above chart is of the plot area. The total area of RPS-2009(I) is much larger and includes roads & green areas, etc.
The above scheme was had two sectors having the above mentioned residential plots, viz., Sector 18 & Sector 20. As per a RTI reply, the following are the villages whose land falls under the above mentioned Sectors 18 & 20.
- Sector 18 villages : Usmanpur, Mohammadpur Gujjar, Dhanuri, Bhatta, Parsaul, Achecha Bujurg, Dungarpur Rilka, Rampur Bangar & Mirzapur.
- Sector 20 villages : Mirzapur, Niloni Shahpur, Parsaul, Rampur Bangar, Achepur, Chandpur, Ronija, Pachkaura, Rabrapura, Rustampur.
Even after 10 years YEIDA has not been able to give possession of the plots.
